With more than 20 entries in the Sterling Presbyterian Manor Art is Ageless display and juried competition, the chapel was full of many colorful and exquisite projects. The entries included quilts, sculptures, paintings, drawings, and other hand crafted clothing. Kansas born artist, JoAnna Trezise, used her artistic background to help set up the exhibit this year. JoAnna is a former employee of the manor, having served in multiple positions including medication aide, Activity Director and most recently Social Services Director. She graduated from Sterling College with an art degree.

The exhibit was set up with a “People’s Choice” voting table and Resident Council President, Charlie Seidl, voted for the “pretty, cozy looking quilts.” My personal favorite was the drawing of Thomas Edison by Robert Enders because it is drawn beautifully and has a sense of sophistication. All of the pieces were amazing. The following pieces took home winning prizes. Congratulations!
