PMMA communities issue Art is Ageless® calls for entries for 2020

PMMA (Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America) communities have issued calls for entries for the Art is Ageless® juried exhibits to be held in February, March, April and May at the 16 PMMA communities in Kansas and Missouri. A list of communities and their entry deadlines, exhibit and reception dates is found on the Find a Local Competition page.

Entries of artistic works will be accepted from any area artists who are 65 years of age or older to exhibit and/or compete for an opportunity to be featured in the 40th anniversary Art is Ageless calendar in 2021.

Artists may choose to enter the exhibit only. For the competition, works are to have been completed in the past five years (since January 2015). There are nine categories, as well as designations of amateur or professional.

Art is Ageless is a registered trademark of PMMA. The Art is Ageless® program encourages PMMA community residents and other area seniors to express their creativity through its annual competition, as well as art classes, musical and dramatic events, educational opportunities and current events discussions throughout the year.

Local competition winners will join winners from all 16  PMMA communities to be judged at the systemwide level.

Entry forms and information can be picked up at each PMMA community, or view rules, download an entry form or enter online.
