The Salina Arts and Humanities Commission invited Salina Presbyterian Manor to participate in a new community group to address Art in Healing.
Through Art Discovery and the Art is Ageless® program, Salina Presbyterian Manor uses art to stimulate the minds of residents in all levels of care. In addition, there are regular performances by writers, jugglers, speakers and musicians. Residents in health care are offered opportunities to participate in monthly art projects.
This dedication to using the arts in the programming at Salina Presbyterian Manor has made the organization a local expert on the use of arts in healing in the greater Salina community.
