Janie Tubbs of Lindsborg, Kan. is considered a functional/traditional basket maker and utilizes traditional styles to accommodate up-to-date functionality. She did that with this piece, “Double Dozen Plus,” a ribbed egg basket made with reeds she hand-dyed and a handle made of blackberry cane.
