After retiring in business, Walter Keener of Oswego, Kan. discovered a love for repurposing wood. He created this entry for the Art is Ageless® competition at Parsons Presbyterian Manor with keys from a piano used by his children. The piano was originally made in Ellinwood, Kan. before the turn of the century. “Reminiscent Music” is a clock made out of the keys with a backing made from pages of a hymnal he sang from as a child. See the entire collection of winning entries from the 2025 Art is Ageless® calendar at artisageless.org.
