When Dena VanNostrand of Arkansas City, Kan. set out to paint “Fairy Land,” she was simply doing her job as a grandma and painting a picture for her granddaughter who had requested a picture with mermaids and fairies. Today, that painting is featured in the 2025 Art is Ageless® calendar.
