This “Silk Mosaic Jacket” by Joyce Pierson of Farmington, Mo. was inspired by the colors of autumn leaves. Can you believe no sewing was involved in making this jacket except for attaching the hook and eyes on the front? Joyce’s process involved felting silk pieces together with merino wool over the resist (pattern) and then felting down to the desired size. The result is beautiful!
